Woke up from my sleep
The flowers in bloom
Walked east to the creek
I'll be home soon
Stopped in the meadow
To visit the deer
But the meadow was concrete
And the deer wasn't there

And as I looked around at all of the trees
I noticed the bee hives were missing their bees
I noticed the sounds of leaves falling was gone

And I can not hear the falling leaves song

With my heart beating quick
I heard coyote's howl
So I ran for the oak tree
To talk to the owl
But the oak tree was missing
Owls nowhere to be seen
I guess I'll go ask the salmon
That swim up the stream

In the air standing still

And when I got there the rivered run dry
I noticed the skyline was missing the sky
I noticed the sounds of frogs croaking was gone

And I can not hear the waterfalls song

So I sat on a stump, on a stump, on a stump

Till the sun went down and the sky turned to black

Maybe I could have done something for some of my friends
But where have they gone
